What's in this collection
Deity-motif rings carry Ganpatiji or Laxmiji worked in relief, drawn from the same South Indian temple tradition as Odara's chokers. They are worn as much for meaning as for decoration, which is part of why they sell year-round rather than only in festival season.
Cocktail and statement rings use broad Kundan or polki tops — the ring equivalent of a chandbali. These are occasion pieces, and they photograph well because the setting sits high off the finger.
Everyday ethnic rings are slimmer: single-stone, small floral tukdi tops, and paisley shapes that work under a keyboard and over a workday.
A number of designs are sold as ring-and-tukdi sets or paired with a matching hand chain, listed together so the finish matches.
Sizing, and why most of these adjust
Ring sizing is the most common reason ethnic jewellery gets returned, so a large share of this collection is made with an open, adjustable shank that flexes across roughly three sizes. The product page states the size where a ring is fixed, and gives the top dimension — for a 2-inch statement top, that measurement matters more than the band size does.
If you are buying a fixed-size ring, measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest, and remember that a broad band needs to be a half-size larger than a thin one to feel the same. For a gift, choose adjustable.
Wearing them
One statement ring per hand is the rule worth keeping. A broad Kundan cocktail ring wants a bare hand around it — no stacking, no competing bracelet on the same wrist. Slimmer ethnic rings stack happily two or three to a hand and pair well with bangles on the same side.
Deity-motif rings are traditionally worn on the index or middle finger rather than the ring finger, though this is convention rather than rule.
Care
Rings get more chemical exposure than any other piece — soap, sanitiser, cleaning products, water. Take them off before washing your hands, not after. That single habit does more to preserve plating than anything else. Adjustable shanks should be flexed as little as possible: open them once to fit, then leave them, because repeated bending fatigues the metal at the join.
Common questions
Are these rings adjustable? Most are. Where a ring is a fixed size, the size is stated on the product page.
Can these be worn daily? The slimmer ethnic designs, yes. Broad Kundan cocktail tops are occasion pieces — daily wear will loosen stones and wear the plating at the edges.
Do they make good gifts? They are the most giftable category in the store, precisely because adjustable sizing removes the guesswork. The deity-motif rings in particular are bought as festival and wedding gifts throughout the year.
